Gim Kurti Introduction

Dear Members,

My name is Gim Kurti and I have been appointed as head coach at the Deer Park Tennis Club as of Monday 15th December 2008. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My coaching history involves working with Australian Open Tennis and also Tennis Victoria's Player Development Department including under 10's and 13's State Squad and State Talent Identification program. I have eight years coaching experience and have played State Grade Victorian Tennis Series. I also obtained an ATP world ranking in 1998. I am currently head coach at Caroline Springs Tennis Club.

My coaching team Val, Alan and I would like to meet with students and parents to introduce the program and ourselves.

We will be holding an introductory assessment class on:

Monday 15 December:    5:00 - 6:30pm

Classes will be held for 45 minute intervals free of charge. Please feel free to come and participate. All are welcome. No appointment required.

In addition I will be running my elite squad session at 6:30 - 8:30pm, where you are more than welcome to observe.

Term 1 will be commencing on Monday 26th January 2009.
