The Deer Park Tennis Club (established in 1963) has a total of six courts, all with floodlighting. It is one of the rare clubs in the Western Suburbs area to contain three different court surfaces at the one venue. Courts 1 and 2 have  been upgraded (in 2003) to synthetic grass, courts 3 and 4 are en-tout-cas (or clay), and courts 5 and 6 are plexipave courts.  The Club has a fully functional Clubroom, with showers, kitchen facilities and a TV, and also has a BBQ area courtside.

All senior players registered to play team tennis are required at the club on Tuesday 31st January 2012 at 7pm for team practice & to collect fixtures for the new season.

The first round will start on Wednesday 8th February (mixed), Thursday 9th February (men’s).

All parents & junior players registered to play team tennis are required at the club on Saturday 28th January 2012 at 8.30am for team practice & to collect fixtures for the new season.

For A Grade 2 mixed, the season starts Friday, February 3, 2012 and runs through to the Grand Finals on Friday, June 15, 2012.

For all other grades, the season starts Saturday, February 4, 2012 and runs through to the Grand Finals on Saturday, June 16, 2012.

Re: Junior Competition Team Tennis 2012.

The committee of the Deer Park Tennis Club Inc. would like to invite junior players to play competition team tennis in season 1 2012.

An information session will be held at the club rooms on Tuesday 25th October, 2011 at 7pm for those parents and children who would like to learn more about what playing team tennis is all about.

Alternatively, if you have what it takes to play competition team tennis with the Deer Park Tennis Club, then simply download a NSJTA registration form from our website www.deerparktc.com and return to the club before 30th October, 2011 and you’re on your way.

Deer Park Tennis Club will be running an in-house tournament on Saturday, October 29, 2011 for both juniors and seniors:

• Juniors: play from 8:30am until 12:00pm.

• Seniors: play from 1:00pm until late.
